Bret and Tammys 35th

We made dinner, played newlyweds game,

and spoke of our love for Bret and Tammys relationship and wonderful example. I've never seen Brandon so emotional in our 7 years of marriage. He shared his love for his father always treating Tammy so well and never letting anyone disrespect her. How everyone who knew Bret would say, "He's a big guy and he's a Great guy. I heard how Tammy was always supportive in Bret serving others while she watch the children. How they never spanked but the one time Bret did he felt guilty and bought the kids doughnuts to ask their forgiveness. How they taught their children while they were young, but trusted them to make correct choices as they got older. They shared their love for us to. It was a great night full of laughter and happy tears. I kept thinking how blessed I am to be a part of such an amazing family. We Ended it with cheesecake and a dance party.

This is a poem I wrote for them.... Marraige isn't always easy, we know first hand.

But you make it look that way,Through many trials you withstand.

We never see you argue, Instead find common ground.

You apoligize quickly... that's where love abounds.

Some of the greatest qualities a man would only hope for..

Amazing cook, beautiful, nurturing, and frugal.

When it comes to a true man, Its a hard worker who provides.

Righteous, respectful, brings out the queen she is inside.

The two of you have set such a great example, Marraige before God inside the temple.

And from there raising a family so righteously...

Made life and love flow more easily.

Raising 5 children wasn't the easy route,

But you chose to anyway, without a single doubt.

With each child you had to dig deeper inside of you, To find the love and patience you never even knew.

They all turned out exceptional, Well... the youngest may be a little questionable.

But you've taught your children so much, even to this day,

always putting each other first... There is no better way.

We see so many qualities that make you a perfect match... Know how greatful we are you chose to make that love last.

It's made all the difference in our lives,

35 years is Amazing! But for you two.. it's really no surprise.
