I feel the need to start this blog when me and Brandon met and go from there. It was my senior yr. of high school, the end of october, 2006. I was 17 and Brandon 22. he had been home from his mission for about 9 months. My friend Dorothea invited me to institute. i there met her boyfriend CJs bestfriend, whom was Brandon of course. Everyone played volleyball immediately after, but me and Brandon didn't talk much. On the ride home Dorothea informs me that brandon thinks I'm "hot" and wants to go on a double date, and i went with it. He picks me up, we go golfing.. where clumsy me breaks Cj's golf club. Pretty embarassing, because he obviously wasn't to thrilled about it. we went to carls jr. then to a Movie -happy Feet. Brandon seemed like a cool guy, a little quiet but very funny. I had decided i would hold his hand if he wanted to... but that didn't happen although my hand was practically begging for it hanging on the armrest 2 inches from his. Now know this, the guys im used to dating are tatted and peirced, and will def. try making out the first chance they get.. so ya it was news to me that if your looking for marriage you had better take it slow haha. So we did just that ,hung out casually. O and found out our date was a big set up planned by cj and Dee. they told brandon i was the one who wanted to go on a double date.. and in all actuality neither of us said any such thing haha.So while we were taking things slow i ended up meeting another guy.. one of the missionaries teaching Dee about the gospel. So we emailed eachother and had mutual feelings. but i wasn't ready to give up on Brandon just yet. Brandon ended up baptizing Dee which was really neat. and both of the guys were there, ya a lil awkward. Cj and Dee invited me and Brandon to go to Utah with them to Temple Square in Salt lake about a week after the baptism. there we had a lot of fun and i ended up holding brandons hand since he seemed to shy to make the move. we stayed a his Aunt Baberas house. the trip ended up being a lot of fun. oh and i asked him to kiss me like spiderman and got rejected.. moving on haha. ok ok so we were downstairs "alone" just how cj and dee had planned it he still wasn't making a move, were watching spiderman. they kiss. i asked if he ever kissed like that he said no, so i say.. do you want to try? he says no. so how embarressing right? That was the deal breaker i chose my missionary over him. The next time i hung out with brandon i told him i just wanted to be friends.
I ended up hanging out with Brandon and Brent a lot, and over time really started to like Brandon. And in the mean time Brent started dating a girl, Becka. The 4 of us would hang out a little, which drew us even closer, and eventually he realised i didnt want to be "just friends" anymore. he asked me on one or two dates just us two and we finally kissed at beckas house for the first time. We hung out a lot with brent and becka at the beginning, we loved riding my parents quads, snowboarding , and drive-in movies. we went to fhe and institute together. loved going to the park and just being together. I can remember getting butterflies in my stomache almost everytime i hugged him.. i never wanted to let go. He officially asked me to be his girlfriend april 2007. he took me to dinner at Black Angus and we went to the show KA on the strip, following with the fountains at the Bellagio (where he asked). I obviously said yes. Brandon was working for Creative Countertops and I started Cosmetology school at Euphoria in october.
